What if our present were already being watched from the future, as if it had already disappeared?
The film unfolds in a time after endings and before beginnings. The funerals are over, the old hopes are buried, but no new ones have yet appeared, and nothing new has begun. A new world is not yet born. We are left in an unfinished present, suspended between collapse and emergence.
From the future, people return to observe this strange historical gap, as if visiting an open-air museum of the old world. One of them, Boris, is interposed among us: placed between us, hidden in our midst, living inside our time as a cold scientist without ever fully belonging to it. He looks for relationships among us, studies them, and gradually begins to experience for himself the universal bond of our world: love. Through his passage among us, the film reveals a world that is still alive, yet already turning into a ruin.
The film moves between fiction, essay, and speculative anthropology. Shot on 16 mm, it looks at the present as if it were already past, asking what remains in the interval between the end of one order and the impossible birth of another.
