Metal Against Metal
solo exhibition, Cafe Prostoru_, National Technical Library, Prague, 2018
This exhibition brings together metal works made from found and altered materials: cut, flattened, bent, pierced, and recomposed into fragile but resistant forms. Rather than presenting metal as something solid, finished, or industrial, the works approach it as something handled, worn, and transformed through use. The exhibition moves between object, relief, and residue. Some works resemble protective surfaces, improvised emblems, or damaged icons. What matters is not purity of material, but contact: metal against metal, pressure against pressure, form against prior use.
