The opposite of the later film Good Morning, Mrs. L.. A marriage between myself and the camera. Five spools of black-and-white 16 mm reversal film as witnesses. No montage, only shooting. An in-camera edited film in which each spool follows a different rule: shots become shorter, from full wind-up takes to single frames, and the camera is gradually freed from the tripod into my hands. No clothes, no focusing, no shutter settings, no looking through the viewfinder. Totally free, full of light and darkness, flesh and flashes. In a ruined temple.
