solo exhibition, Divadlo Pod Palmovkou, Praha, 2021

The exhibition unfolds through a process of making: searching, trying, forgetting, doubt, and small victories. The works emerge from it, yet stand on their own. It resonates with the documentary essay film Personal Life of a Hole. The film received the Andrej Nikolaj Stankovič Prize in 2021.

In parallel, a black notebook was formed, where thinking first took the form of a medium that does not allow rearrangement. Here, images were drawn and fixed in sequence without the possibility of shifting them, like in-camera editing. From this notebook, an exhibition Black Notebook was later selected, bringing this mode of thinking into space and thereby moving thinking through matter further.
